18 February 2011

18 February 2011 My beautiful daughter's birthday!

Having just returning from walking under the full moon, I am inspired to write. Although I am energized by my late nightt/early morning strolls, I haven't been able to venture out the last few months. However, when I rose in the early hours of the morning, the beauty of the moon's brightness invited me to bundle up to take a walk. Two paths (a two mile and a five mile) beckoned me forward. When the time came to make a choice, I took the one I felt lead to follow, and know that decision made a difference.

The west wind swirled around my face (the only exposed part of my body) and stung as I turned into it, allowing my shadow to fall in the ditch behind me. I was on an unpaved road as I lifted my arms and prayed. My prayer was multi-faceted. I prayed for simple physical needs of today as well as future endeavors. I prayed in supplication for each person I knew, for those who wander through my life, and even for those who may dislike or despise me. I prayed for anyone who may read this little letter.

My prayer was for an openness to life. An ability to understand that life, each life, has a purpose. I believe God has a plan and each person is a part of this plan. Our acceptance of God's plan is our pathway to happiness, peace and love. I do not pretend to understand all the aspect of the plan, only to know it exists, and that I am committed to living my part of it.

May your Full Moon Day be one filled with life giving energies!
LOV,
Mary
